SPEAKER BIO:

Shandee Chernow is President and CEO of CertiStar. In her late 20’s Shandee discovered that she had life-threatening allergies. For many years she struggled to find safe menu options when dining out. Shandee knew that the Food and Beverage industry needed a solution to make things easier for both restaurant staff and customers suffering from food allergies. Enter in CertiStar, a software launched in 2017 that enables restaurants to provide food allergic guests with even safer and easier dining experiences. CertiStar’s individualized menus allow guests to find all their allergen friendly options on the menu by way of green, yellow, and red. Shandee’s work is revolutionizing the foodservice industry and helping restaurants increase revenue, profits, and safety by better serving food allergic guests.

Making takeout and delivery easier for those with food allergies allows you to earn loyal customers and increase your restaurant’s revenue. These customers are looking for places that can provide better guidance as they order food from home. During this presentation, CertiStar CEO, Shandee Chernow, will share simple ways to make takeout and delivery even safer and easier for your food allergic patrons.
