The World Food Championships (WFC) is known as the leading platform for cooks and chefs to realize their culinary dreams. But for foodies, it’s a job that mixes business and pleasure. In fact, WFC’s “Licensed to E.A.T.™” judging classes have attracted more than 3,000 foodies from far and wide to earn certification –– spanning from California to Tanzania, Africa and everywhere in between.
Now, WFC is bringing YOU a one-of-a-kind, food-filled day of fun. “Licensed to E.A.T.™: Tempe.” The best part? Guests will have the opportunity to put their new skills to the test. At the conclusion of the E.A.T.™ Methodology Training portion of the event, attendees will actually judge sample dishes from a Surf and Turf throwdown between WFC competitors Jerry Matuszewski and Johan Magnusson. To start the day, BBQ Island Tempe will serve up a delicious barbecue plate which includes a pulled pork sandwich, bbq baked beans and corn on the cob.
This kitchen classroom experience is hosted by WFC Ambassador, Anthony Serrano, and BBQ Island Tempe. Upon completion of “Licensed to E.A.T.™: Tempe,” you will join our growing community of WFC Judges and be mailed a certified Food Champ judges’ GOLD CARD to prove it!
