Rio Salado College’s Date Night Cooking Workshop

October 25 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm MST

Bring a date or a friend and join us for this couples evening cooking class.  You will work with a professional chef to whip up a three course meal.  First thing on the menu is a beautiful Apple, Pecan, Bleu Cheese and Chianti Vinaigrette salad served in an herbed phyllo cup.  For the main course, get ready to flambe with classic Steak Diane paired with garden rosemary potatoes and sauteed spinach.  For a sweet ending, learn how to make a silky smooth creme brulee and torch it for the classic crispy crust.

Rio Salado culinary workshops are designed for the beginner and are fun and low pressure. Workshops are hands on and participants will be standing for the majority of the workshop. Workshops are generally made up of 12 students and we work in teams. We want the group to work safe, learn new techniques and recipes to their culinary repertoire and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Proper kitchen attire is required which includes: closed toe shoes, long pant and long or short sleeve shirt. Please restrain hair while in the kitchen.
