Rio Salado College Tortellini Making for Beginners Workshop

Come and join us for an evening of flavor and fun! The Cafe @ Rio Salado College and the Sustainable Food Systems Program will be hosting a Tortellini Making for Beginners Workshop. Students will learn all aspects of making past dough including mixing the dough, rolling out the dough, stuffing and forming the tortellini. Students will then cook and enjoy the fruits of their labor with chef prepared sauces.
Rio Salado culinary workshops are designed for the beginner and are fun and low pressure. Workshops are hands on and participants will be standing for the majority of the workshop. Workshops are generally made up of 16 students and we work in teams of 4. We want the group to work safe, learn new techniques and recipes to their culinary repertoire and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Proper kitchen attire is required which includes: closed toe shoes, long pant and long or short sleeve shirt. Please restrain hair while in the kitchen.
