Come join Cactus Section IFT on Monday May 21, 2018 for Design Thinking for Food: An Interactive Seminar. This education session will introduce the principles of inspiration, brainstorming and prototyping in a 2 hour interactive seminar. Participants will go through an interactive prototyping exercise and leave with an understanding of Design Thinking.

Walk-ins welcome!

Leading this workshop will be Lauren Shimek Ph.D. Lauren is the Founder and CEO of Food.Tech.Design. As a Ph.D. food scientist with over 9 years of food design and innovation at IDEO as well as product development expertise at General Mills, she creates breakthrough food and beverage products that tap into people’s unmet needs and desires while being grounded in manufacturability.
