City of Yuma Heritage Festivals and Robb Bower Presents invite you to the Boogie, Brews and Blues Festival on Saturday, February 18th, from 11am to 7pm in Gateway Park. This year’s lineup features critically-acclaimed, award-winning artists that are sure to keep you moving!
– Philip Sayce, a blues guitar sensation from Toronto, Canada, has performed with the likes of Jeff Healy, Melissa Ethridge, and Eric Clapton at the 2013 Crossroads Festival.
– Jonathon Boogie Long and the Blues Revolution, a blues/soul trio from Louisiana, Boogie took top prize in the 2011 National Guitar Center King of the Blues Challenge.
– The Boscoe France Band, a slide guitar blues band from Kentucky, Boscoe took top prize in the 2012 National Guitar Center King of the Blues Challenge.
– The Gino Matteo Band featuring Jade Bennett, a roots-music band from Southern California, Matteo has worked with artists such as B.B. King, John Mayer, John Fogerty, and Buddy Guy.
– The McCoy Brothers Band, originally formed in 2012, are musicians and friends from the San Diego area with a unique blend of songwriting and musical backgrounds

Chairs, blankets, umbrellas and shades are allowed. The area designated for shades and umbrellas is first come, first served. This is a family friendly event, all ages are welcome. Coolers, pets, and outside food/drinks will not be allowed.

HOW THE FEST WORKS
A General Admission ticket provides access to taco-topia. Inside the event, you’ll find about 50 restaurants dishing out $2 tacos and bars and beverage station serving margaritas, beer, water, and soda. The entire festival works on a token system – so you will purchase tokens worth $2 each and use those as cash. Vendors will be on hand to sell other food (mostly desserts) as well. ATMs will be on site, but you can use a credit card if desired.

Experience a taco-topia of epic proportions. Over 50 restaurants and food trucks will serve $2 tacos (sold separately) with some of the most unique recipes you’ve ever tasted. Watch live bands from surf and rock to mariachi and Latin all weekend long. There’s Lucha Libre wrestling shows all weekend, too. Don’t miss hilarious eating contests, chile pepper-eating challenges, and the entertaining chihuahua beauty pageant.
Upon checking in at the event, receive enough tokens for five alcoholic beverages, one water or soda, and 10 tacos. You’ll also have access to a VIP tent with shaded seating and private bathrooms. Oh, there’s also an overwhelming feeling of taco awesomeness.
Over 30 brands will make over 100 types of tequila available in this Saturday-only tent. This ticket comes with a wristband good for 10 samples of fine tequila. Tequila Expo passes must be purchased in conjunction with a GA or VIP ticket. We highly recommend purchasing these passes online – the Expo will sell out.
Over a dozen of the Valley’s top mixologists are each paired with a top-shelf tequila brand to make insanely creative, ingredient-driven margarita cocktails. The Great Southwest Cajun Fest, brought to you by
Abita Brewing is set to return on Saturday, April 22, from noon – 9 p.m. in downtown Chandler. Showcasing the heart and soul of New Orleans paired with Arizona fusion and flavor for a full day packed with cultural festivities, food and entertainment.
The Southwest Cajun Fest celebrates Cajun culture, cuisine and handcrafted beer, and will feature live music with jazz, blues and contemporary swing revival bands. Festival patrons will feel transported to the southeastern region of Louisiana during the Cajun Fest.
The festival will feature live entertainment and a variety of food vendors serving up regional dishes. Festivities also includes themed zones such as Bourbon Street, French Quarter, Garden District and more. Patrons of all ages are encouraged to dress in festive parade style attire and join in on the fun and celebration.
General admission is $8 during online presale $10 at the gate. Kids 12 and under will be admitted for free. VIP admission is $125, which includes catered food, six adult beverages, access to private seating in the VIP area, private restrooms and front stage access.
