Beet tonic

Garden Goddess, LLC

February 13, 2019 By Arizona Food Service Network

My first introduction to the Garden Goddess, Suzette Smith, was at the 2018 Peddler’s Son Food Show and it was love at first taste.

This segment interests me for a few reasons; raw foods and gut health. As a 9 year vegetarian and 4 month vegan, these changes only happened as a by-product of a project with a local raw foods group. I repurposed the audio interviews from an online raw foods summit, and after listening to them all, and many eight times over, I gave away all the animal protein products and went vegan.

With vegan, I felt amazing however, I was also pretty miserable. I can live without bacon but the deal breaker was living without butter and cream. The Garden Goddess Fermented products fit in the category of good and good for you, happy to share more about the company.

The Fermented Beet Tonic is an amazing product, even took home a sample so I was able to enjoy the product beyond the show. For me, beets are a great source of energy, and it’s pretty sustainable for me. No highs or lows, just more upbeet (intended) overall. Raw organic juices make me happy and the bonus for me is I love beets!

The label says the product supports detoxifying your liver, mental clarity, and reduces sugar cravings. It’s organic, raw, and it’s a probiotic.

Suzette and her crew were also at the 2019 Arizona Vegetarian Food Festival sampling the Beet Kvass so struck up a conversation and invited her to the ACFAZ meeting on February 4th at Capistrano’s Bakery.

At the meeting, she was very well received sharing with us her background on what lead to start Garden Goddess and where it’s at today with her products and company. Beet shots for all.

For me, the next time I’ll most likely see her is when I pick up some product to become a regular customer. Good and good for you, a great addition to your daily routine.
