In a world of uncertainty, the one thing you can be certain of, the need for skilled labor will be in demand and now is the best time to brush up on your skills and knowledge. Currently, there are many organizations giving free access to tools that support career development. Expanding on five of them in this post.
1). The American Culinary Federation is offering some online learning. Webinar Series: ACF United, Our Industry & The Future of Foodservice and ACF United Mind, Body, Spirit, and the ACF United Online Package are all no charge.
Benefit for ACF Member is the free CEH’s associated with many of these courses. Open through April 30th. Other links of interest from the ACF to review. COVID-19 Response and The Ferdinand Metz / ACF Relief Fund.
2) The National Restaurant Association has provided excellent information throughout this. There is so much information within these links it’s just best to post them.
The free online courses the National Restaurant Association are offering on the ServSafe. These are good through April 30.

- ServSafe Takeout and Delivery: COVID-19th Precautions

ServSafe is also showcasing American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute link on their site. That’s my #3.
4) Arizona State University is also offering online courses and finding two sources for them.
Wishing you all much success in the courses you take. I too will be taking a few as well, thankful for the opportunity.
